From a pile of Aluminum, to works of art
Wash and dry
Several hundred tabs are washed and dried simultaneously.
sort and recycle
Once the tabs have been fully dried, they are sorted through for defects. Any badly damaged or rusted tabs are set aside to be recycled.
Bend and cut
Each tab is then bent at a roughly 45 degree angle. Next, the tabs are each cut once, at the top, using wire cutters.
before paint
Several boards have been set up specifically to make the painting process more efficient.
after painting
Once the tabs have been painted, they will dry for 24 hours before being removed from the boards.
Chainmaille ‘em
One by one, each and every tab is chainmialled together to create a picture like no other.
