My unique Artwork only requires a few components:
Time, patience, and a lot of pop tabs.
Introduction
When most people see a pop tab on the ground, they see trash. Me on the other hand, I’ll pick up that pop tab. Each tab can be part of something amazing. In fact, a couple hand fulls of tabs can be anything I want them to be. Hi, my name is Anthony, and my goal is to get you to see art in something you once considered trash.
Original idea
I set out to create something that has never been done before. My original idea was to create a relatively small american flag, made up of chainmailled pop tabs. I didn’t have a plan going into it, and I may have underestimated how much work would be involved… 22,125 pop tabs and 2 years later, my very first art piece was finished.
Completion
After my first chainmaille piece was complete, I felt a huge sense of accomplishment. I felt like I finally found my passion. I decided to create more unique art but on a much smaller scale. With each piece I create, I challenge myself to get more complicated and Intricate.
Trash into Cash
